DAX FlexGrid Basic provides utility technicians quick access to grid information via a fast and user friendly geographical map. Features include: Work orders, single line diagram editor, search, asset photo viewing and upload, map screenshot sharing, integration with GPS navigation, offline maps, and more.
The map is powered by Mapbox's open sourced vector tile technology, providing a very smooth map experience. At DAX we love Mapbox technology, because of the flexibility, scalability and elegance of user experience - that commercial GIS vendors are yet to match.
Because the underlying technology is open sourced, there's a great flexibility in terms of large scale deployment (i.e. electricians, government employees, citizens, you name them), because you are not required to pay per user/deployment.
Back-office GIS data is easily integrated into the app, no matter what GIS technology/database you might use on premises.
